O hai!  I'm Cynthia.  It's nice to "meet" you!  Thanks for checking me out.  On this page, I'll show you where to find my blogs and my web sites.  Have fun looking around and you're welcome to contact me at cynthia [at] cynthiaclinton [dot] com if you have any question at all.

MY BLOGS

CHRONICLES - This is my personal blog where I do stream-of- consciousness journaling, yak about my art and jewelry making, have fun writing contests and games, and lots of other stuff.  It's FUN!  The more the merrier.

THE WHOLY BLOG - This is the official weblog of the Wholy One Wellness Center in Gilroy, CA.  I talk about emotional energy management, eliminating (or at least greatly reducing) negativity, law of attraction, fitness, spiritual matters, and generally rail against the powers that be like Big Pharma, the Media, the diet industry, and other Merchants of Chaos.

BEST OF THE SOUTH BAY - This is the blog where I put the spotlight on local (the California cities of Hollister, Gilroy, San Martin, Morgan Hill, San Jose and its outlying areas, sometimes San Francisco, Watsonville, Santa Cruz) businesses and highlight what's the best about them as well as help spread the word about local events, fun things to do, good causes to help, and lots more!  There's even a kind of "Life In My Neighborhood" sort of thing.  Stop by - even if you're not from around here.

FEMMEPRENEUR - This is my attempt at providing an internet lighthouse for the daring, enlightened and empowered women in business today.  Come get a leg up or give a leg up.  Come stand on my shoulders or give shoulders on which to stand.  Here's an answer to a question I get asked a lot.  No, I'm not gay myself and the name doesn't have anything to do with the gay lifestyle, but gay women are certainly as welcome as anyone else.  The key words are "enlightened" and "empowered" :D

SOME PICTURES OF MOI

I really like black and white photos.  They have a different feel to them than color photos do.  I think they are kind of romantic and film noir, especially when they are taken of body parts.  You can click on any of the photos, except the first one, for a larger view of the image.

Sorry, I can't find a bigger one.  A shame, really cuz I was in great shape ;).

Goofing around and making jewelry in my old jewelry studio.

These beautiful things are a weed, I think.  I used to call them "Fairy Wings" and I'd wait for them to come up each year.  Weed or no weed, they are some of the loveliest things I've ever seen.  Anyone know what they are?

A few years ago when I had my hair curly like now, only now it's a bit longer.  It's touching my shoulders in the back right now.  I was modeling some great jewelry.  I loved wearing those two pieces together.

These are my stretched front lobes.  Yes, you're seeing a hole through the middle - these plugs are a hollow tube called an "eyelet".  The black around the outside is a squishy silicone "saw blade".  These lobes are what I gave myself for my 45 birthday.  They are not to everyone's taste, but I think they are beautiful.  Usually, I have two other earrings in each ear, but I'd taken them out to show these.

This was actually a "throw away" picture I kind of liked for its sense of mystery.  I'd been modeling jewelry in lingerie and the camera went off early, catching me looking away.  You can't see the stunning jewelry I'm wearing (I'm a jewelry designer part-time and have my own jewelry line), but the lingerie is by Victoria's Secret in case anyone wants to know.

I was clowning for an old fried with a camera, which I hardly ever do, but he beholds me better than I behold myself.  Those are my favorite shoes... silk, beaded ankle strap stilettos.  Yum!  Many who see this pic remark the sofa looks velvet, but it isn't.  The pillow is chenille, though, so it kind of fools the camera.

This embarrassing pic was taken by one of my best guy friends while we were all at a dirt track racing event at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in Watsonville.  My then husband was a driver.  He did okay.  My hair now is about as long as it was in this pic, only black and curlier.  No makeup in this pic (oh come on, it was the races and I was on the pit side as crew) and having a bad hair day... cope.
