Cynthia
Clinton is a force of nature. Like the tornado, avalanche or hurricane,
she is a flurry of sight, sound and movement. "If my jewelry were a
singer, it would be an opera singer rather than a pop star. It's a
glorious peal rather than a catchy tune that hums." She enjoys
designing couture jewelry for women who like to get noticed, women who can
command a room or women who'd just like to.
She works
closely with her clients to give them a sense of their feminine divine
and fine-tunes their outer glow. She works with the clothing they wear
the most, helping them see the patterns in their necklines and color
choices, so they can select a solution that keeps them always looking
their best. "I've got Grab-N'-Go jewelry solutions that can see
them confidently through casual to evening to bridal. I love seeing
these ladies hit the world feeling like juicy, vibrant women."
Many of her clients come to her wanting a change in their lives and, as
a result, her jewelry is an expression of who they want to be now.
"To me, the jewelry I
create is not just an accessory, but a
jumpstart on the road to becoming."
Ms. Clinton got started in the jewelry business when her growing hearing
impairment squeezed her out of her previous career. "I find that
I'm able to build my environment so that it assists in my endeavor to
communicate well with my clients. In fact, I've compensated so well that
most of my clients don't know I'm hearing impaired unless I tell
them."
She has a retail jewelry store as well several online jewelry locations.
"When I first started designing jewelry, my studio was set up in my second husband's damp, dark basement. Little frogs would hop across my legs as I
worked. I've definitely come a long way since those days," she
grins. She owns and operates an independent publishing company,
is
the author of several jewelry making
books and is a duly appointed Notary
Public in the State of California. In 2004, she became an
ordained minister so she could perform marriages that
celebrate life and the universe. She lives and works in
Gilroy, California.
