Hi, I'm Cynthia Clinton.
I'm the writer that drives the CDC Publishing engine.
I've been writing and self-publishing my own jewelry
making how-to books
since 1999 and have published 4 jewelry
making books to
date.
I've been making and selling
jewelry since 1997. I brought my jewelry business online
in 1998. Now I have several online locations and a retail
jewelry store in Gilroy, California.
I've been a writer in some
fashion or another since I was in grade school. As I grew
older, I became more and more interested in copywriting.
I enjoyed writing copy that motivated people to buy or writing
press articles.
Due to my strong background in
jewelry making and the arts, providing writing services to my
industry was a natural progression. I especially like
writing PR gathering materials like press releases, biographies
(bios), artist statements. I also enjoy writing ads,
flyers, product descriptions and web site copy.
